What we sell

Relaxed clothing and comfort-first footwear for women. Dresses and kaftans, blouses, and cosy knit cardigans for the colder months. On the footwear side, sandals and a dedicated comfort and orthopedic range built around support, width and cushioning rather than around a silhouette.

We are not an occasionwear label and we do not chase trends. The range is small on purpose.

Why the comfort range exists

Shoes that are kind to your feet have a reputation problem. For a long time the choice was between something supportive that looked orthopedic, and something that looked good and could not be worn past lunchtime. Plenty of people simply put up with the second option.

That gap is where Lily Wellington started. The comfort and orthopedic range is chosen for what it does — room across the toes, a footbed that holds up over a full day, closures that work for hands that do not want a fight — and then judged again on whether anyone would actually want to wear it. Both tests have to pass.

The clothing follows the same logic. Kaftans and loose dresses that move rather than cling. Blouses that keep their shape after a wash. Knitwear soft enough to live in through winter. Nothing that needs managing.

We trade online only, which keeps the cost of running the business low. Rather than turning that into a discount that unlocks above a spending threshold, we put it into free tracked delivery on every order, however small.

To make comfortable clothing and supportive footwear that women are pleased to wear, not resigned to wearing — and to be plain about sizing, materials and delivery so nobody has to guess.

Vision

A wardrobe chosen for how it feels at the end of the day rather than at the start. If comfort stops being a compromise, we have done the job.

What we stand behind

Free standard tracked delivery on every order, no minimum. Thirty days to change your mind. No restocking fee. A 30-day warranty against manufacturing defects, sitting on top of the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which cannot be excluded and are not capped at 30 days. And an answer to your email within 24 hours on a working day.

Anything that turns up damaged, faulty or wrong gets put right at our cost. That is set out in the Returns & Refund Policy, next to the Shipping Policy and the Payment Policy. Nothing claimed on this page goes further than what those documents commit us to.
